IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Seniors have been randomly chosen to participate in the identified to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) test (https://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/about/)on February 22, 2019. Letters were sent out regarding participation to those randomly chosen. If you would not like your student to participate and you received a letter, please contact Mr. Wallace (wallacbr@sd25.us).
For students looking for summer work, Deschutes Roofing Co. reached out to Highland High School and is hiring. If you are interested please contact (208)390-3574.
The Highland Facilities Committee, part of the Building Leadership Team, is meeting to walk through a bid for concessions, bathrooms, and press box for Iron Horse Stadium. More information will be provided regarding the bid in next weeks newsletter.
The Highland Foundation is still functional here at Highland and we are always willing to accept donations, which come with tax benefits. To facilitate the ability to donate, we are putting together a Venmo Account (a moblie app where you can pay directly to the Highland Foundation Bank Account with the click of a button). This will be available by tomorrow and next week's newsletter will provide detailed information on how to donate.
Winter activities and athletics are going strong with Speech & Debate, Cheer, Dance, Wrestling, and Girls and Boys Basketball. We are so proud of all the students participating and we are so grateful for the support they get from their parents/guardians. Also, thank you to all our coaches who put in countless hours to help students in their activities and in life.
