Dear Highland Parent, Student, and Ram Supporter,
Here is a direct link with the latest information regarding our District's response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please contact Highland or the District Office with any questions or concerns. https://www.sd25.us/Content2/coronavirus
Highland High School is open Monday-Friday 8am-12pm for students, parents/guardians to clean out lockers, check out a chromebook, pickup/dropoff homework packets, speak with school administration, etc. After Monday 5/18, all items not cleaned out of lockers or picked up by students will be donated to a second-hand store.
We will be continuing with remote learning for the remainder of the school year. Students who do not have contact with their teachers during a week will be marked as absent for that week and a notification will be sent to parents/guardians. Also, we are working hard at notifying parents/guardians each week of students who are not picking up homework packets or not engaging online.
Homework packets are picked up and dropped off each Monday from 8am-12pm in the front commons area at Highland High School. If you cannot make this time please contact Principal Wallace (208)237-1300 ext.103 or wallacbr@sd25.us.
Students who are feeling overwhelmed or need support should be contacting their teachers, school counselor, and/or school administration. We are here to support in anyway we can. You can call or email.
Spring extracurricular activities have been canceled for the year. To request refunds for spring extracurriculars that were paid for, please email our Bursar-Mrs. Huelsman at huelsms1@sd25.us .
Decisions regarding graduation have not been made but there is a committee being formed at the district level to address the issue. Decisions will be made and communicated to students and parents/guardians by 5/1.
Highland's last week for lessons and assignments for all students will be occurring 5/18-5/22. Highland students will return their chromebooks and text books to Highland High School's Media Center at the time they complete their class or classes for which these tools are required. The last day to turn in a chromebook or text book will be Thursday 5/28. If these resources are not turned in at this time, they will be placed as a fee on a students account until the chromebook and/or textbook are returned.
Here is the information and this information can also be found on our website under academic planning=
