HHS April 24-May 1 Letter from Administration


Dear Parent/Guardian, Student, and Highland Ram Supporter,

This Friday we have our Senior Assembly at 11am, it is an opportunity to celebrate our students who will be leaving us next year.  We are excited for these students and wish them the best in their future adventures.

Reminder for graduates to get their fees paid and that cap and gown orders for graduates need to be completed as orders are now past due but will be accepted until the end of the week.  Please contact the school with questions or concerns.

Reminder that AP testing is coming up the first two weeks of May.  Check the academic calendar to see the dates each test will be given.  We do not have much time left before the year is out.  Please make sure you are checking the academic and the athletics/activity calendars for important dates coming up.

In this week's newsletter we felt it would be important to review the RAM Attitudes we teach students about each week in advisory and to review the interventions for academics, attendance, and behavior we have in place at Highland High School.  

We want each student to find success and we deeply believe in the RAM Attitudes we teach students about each week in Advisory.  We have developed interventions with these principles in mind.  Each intervention is designed to provide a student who wants to make some changes with the support and opportunities to make those changes.  We recognize the value of balancing support and accountability.  Our goal through each intervention with a student is to increase learning and growth.
