COVID Update:
The School Board has decided to prioritize in-person learning, five days a week, for the 2021-2022 school year. The Board also took action
to recommend masks/face coverings, but left the decision optional and up to the discretion of families. School assemblies, dances, and other activities will all be a part of the planned activities for the 2021-22 school year at Highland unless there is a change in direction.
Parent Advisory Team:
Every year we have a group of parents participant in our Highland Parent Advisory Team. This group is an active part of improvement at Highland High School. They have been instrumental in our efforts towards addressing several issues at Highland. We invite anyone interested to fill out the form. We meet once every other month for lunch, provided by School Administration. Please email Principal Wallace with any questions. Our first meeting will be in September.
Extracurriculars:
All indoor activities hosted on Idaho State University campus do require masks in order to attend. This Saturday our JV and Varsity Football teams play in the Holt Arena at 3:30pm and 6:30pm verses Rocky Mountain High School. Masks are required. Those who do not wear a mask will not be allowed to attend. If someone removes their mask while at the game, they will be approached by security and asked to leave. We ask that everyone respect and follow the guidelines set by Idaho State University to keep students at ISU and those in our community safe. Please contact Athletic Director Travis Bell with any questions or concerns.
Again, we are so excited to have students back. This is going to be a great year! GO RAMS!
